City Wide Traffic Signal Upgrade PID#:89037


The City of Westlake in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Transportation awarded the  above mentioned project to Perram Electric, Inc. This federally funded project upgraded all the traffic signals and poles throughout the City, using energy efficient signals along with interconnecting the signals with fiber optic cables. This will help monitor and promote better traffic flow though out the City.

Service Department Salt Storage Facility


The City of Westlake hired Miller Builders to complete the Salt Storage Facility which included demolishing the old wood framed salt barn and constructed a larger storage building with a high arch gambrel truss system and a metal roof. This building also included a overhang for storage.

Service Department Tipping Pad


The City of Westlake hired Miller Builders to complete a Tipping Pad structure. This structure was a pre-engineered fabric building with galvanized steel framing. The intent of the structure is to allow the Service Department to transfer unsuitable material from a dump truck to a dumpster in a controlled environment, to fulfill various EPA Mandates.
