According to Goeth, "...until you have seen the Sistine Chapel, you have not seen evidence of what man has done." Michelangelo was 33 when he started the largest fresco painting on earth in one of the best known Chapels in the world. The presentation will focus on several of his works but mainly on the ceiling frescos, their emotional states symbolizing the world in anticipation of Christ coming. Fall leaf collection will begin October 10th. Leaf collection will continue until December 9th, weather permitting. Generally there are no more than two weeks between collections; however poor weather conditions may cause longer delays.
Only leaves will be collected. Please do not mix branches or grass cuttings with leaves, as this will plug the machines and slow the collection process. Place the leaves on the tree lawn. Do not place leaves in the street.
Please remember to keep the catch basins in front of house and in the street clear to reduce flooding during heavy rains. Remove grass clippings, brush and leaves whenever possible.
