What is SilverSneakers®? SilverSneakers® is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events. Unlock the door to greater independence and a healthier life with SilverSneakers®. Health plans around the country offer our award-winning program to people who are eligible for Medicare or to group retirees. SilverSneakers® provides a fitness center membership to any participating location across the country. This great benefit includes: access to conditioning classes, exercise equipment, pool, sauna and other available amenities as well as customized SilverSneakers® classes designed exclusively for older adults who want to improve their strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.
Am I eligible for SilverSneakers®?
You may already have SilverSneakers®. SilverSneakers® is a benefit offered to members of many Medicare plans across the U.S. If you are part of a Medicare health plan or if you are a group retiree you may already have the SilverSneakers® benefit.

How do I get started using SilverSneakers®?
* Simply bring your SilverSneakers® Member ID card to the Westlake Recreation Center. Complete the paperwork that we require to get started.
*No SilverSneaker® card? Bring your health plan ID card with you to tour our location and see all the amenities you'll enjoy as a SilverSneakers® member. We have the means to check to see if you are eligible for this fantastic fitness program.
SilverSneakers® Class Schedule
There is a limit of 30 participants per class. Numbers will be available for pick up at the front desk beginning at 10am.
*Silver Sneakers Classic (formerly MSROM):
Monday and Wednesday 10:30-11:25 am (Jenni), Tuesday 10:45-11:40 am (Tony)
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. This class is free to Silver Sneakers members.
*SilverSneakers Cruise-n-Classic® (half gentle cycle, half Classic)
Thursday 10:45-11:40 am (Tony)
Take a little cruise to the music as Tony leads you on a gentle ride on the indoor cycles to get your muscles nice and warm. Cruise for about 20-30 minutes and follow that up with 30-40 minutes of your favorite SilverSneakers Classic class. Class will start in the Spinning Studio and finish in the Group Exercise Studio.
Friday 10:30-11:25 am (Jenni)
Circuit offers standing low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper body work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and the SilverSneakers balls. Circuit focuses on the benefits of a circuit format to improve your cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength and endurance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
**These classes are free to Silver Sneakers® members and open to any beginning-to-intermediate older adult exercisers for the standard pop in
rates or admittance with the 6-month, seasonal, or monthly pass.
