Will be held on the first Sunday of the month. A heart rate monitor is strongly recommended. Class lasts 1 1/2 hours.
Take your spinning to the next level! This workout challenges experienced riders with an all out solo effort against the clock. Spinning experience of at least 6 months is recommended as well as a heart rate monitor. This event will be held on the following Saturdays from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m.: Feb. 19, March 19 and April 16.
Class size is limited to 14 bikes; pop in 30 minutes prior at the front desk; bring 2 water bottles and towels.
Ride for 40 minutes and finish up with 20 minutes on weights.
Spin for 45 minutes and finish up with a great abdominal workout!
Test your spinning skills with this combination of riding and weight training/resistance intervals with various exercise equipment.
This class is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Each workout is designed to simulate the efforts of Tour Riders. Profiles will replicate stages of the Tour in our spinning studio. It's a great way to put a different twist on your workouts.

This class is for the experienced student who would like to take their practice to the next level. Explore and deepen your practice with powerful heat building poses connected with breathing awareness as you build strength, flexibility, focus and endurance.
Workouts will challenge you with 45 minutes of strength training and 45 minutes of cardio. Burn calories, tone up and have a blast!
A great class to tone and strengthen all of your muscles. Body bars, stretch
bands, flexaballs, dumbbells, and your own body will be used as resistance. Come to this class for a great total body workout.
Body Toning Express: 25-minute version of Body Toning.
Develop your core strengths and flexibility with a variety of standing exercises, floor work, and yoga/pilates based moves. Hand weights, exerballs, body bars and bands may be used to enhance your workout.

Move quickly through this workout for a high energy, calorie burning, muscle toning and heart strengthing workout. Equipment includes balls, bars and bands to create a great workout!
Great for total body conditioning, improving strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, alignment, coordination and a sense of well being. Exercises strengthen the body from its center core to provide stability to derive stress free movement of the limbs.
This early morning workout will get you sweating and get your heart pumping! Be prepared for a step, kickboxing, yoga or a strength training class to start your day off on the right foot.
Great for beginners or those looking for something new to add to your workout! Exercises include: low impact cardio, strength training and flexibility work.
This energizing class combines posture (asana) with breath and movement. Build strength and stamina, increase flexibility, and finish with deep relaxation for a feeling of balance and rejuvenation. Bring your own yoga mat.
This class combines yoga poses and pilates strengthening exercises into one class. It's relaxing yet challenging!

Group Exercise Studio

Multi-Purpose Room
Spinning is a stationary cycling workout. Spinning classes include different rides designed by instructors. Each class will take you on a visual bike ride, complete with music to keep you motivated. Class sizes are limited to 14 bikes. Pop in 30 minutes prior at the front desk and don't forget to bring two water bottles and a towel.
Group Exercise classes are held in our open, airy studios, and taught by certified aerobics instructors who are guaranteed to keep you motivated and working.
Pop-In Pass:
$5 for members and $10 for residents.
-Stop at the front desk before the class, and pick up a number to take to class with you.
Monthly Rate Pass:
$55 for members and $75 for residents.
-Pay one fee and attend any of the group exercise or Spinning classes! Just show your pass at the front desk, pick up a number, and take it to class to get in. Pass is good for 30 days from date of purchase.
Seasonal Pass:
$155 for members and $240 for residents.

Spinning Studio
Passes or pop-ins must be paid for prior to attendance in any class.
Purchasing a pass does not guarantee you a bike for class.
Space is limited, bikes are available on a first come first served basis.

A number is required for entry into all classes.
No replacements for lost or stolen seasonal or flat rate passes.
Flat rate passes are only good for the month listed on the pass.

Adult Dance: Learn how to dance like the stars! Each 4-week session will focus on different steps. This class takes place on Wednesdays (for beginners) from 7 - 7:45 p.m. and from 8 - 8:45 p.m. (for intermediate).
Aging Gracefully: A circuit style workout designed specifically for the active ager. This low impact, high energy workout is sure to help you lose weight, tone muscle, and strengthen bones! This class takes place on Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. - noon.
Belly Dancing Level 1: Open to beginners as well as more advanced dancers who are looking to strengthen techniques such as hip and torso isolations, footwork, arms and hands while moving to the hypnotic sounds of Middle Eastern rhythms. This class takes place on Mondays, from 7:15 - 8:15 p.m.
Belly Dancing Level 2: Learn how to put it all together and further refine your technique. Learn how to layer movements, develop graceful transitions and bring out your own unique dance style. Students will receive a complimentary CD from the instructor. This class takes place on Mondays, from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.
CardioCORE Blast: The perfect supplement to your current program, designed to enhance your recovery, improve performance and burn hundreds of calories. Using many popular calisthenic exercises and high intensity interval training designed to improve function, mobility, core and cardiovascular endurance. This class takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 - 8 a.m. (Pop-in rate available).
Cycle and Core: Join us for a light and uplifting 30-minute Spinning class to heat up your muscles followed by 30-minutes of core strengthening exercises and gentle floor yoga to calm and quiet the body. Come to this class to mix it up! This class takes place on Mondays, from 10 - 10:50 a.m.
Fit Camp: This hour long group fitness class for men and women includes strength training with weights, stretch bands, calisthenics and medicine balls and takes place both indoors and outdoors at the Recreation Center. This class takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 5:45 - 6:45 a.m. and from 6:15 - 7:15 p.m. (Pop-in rate available).
Line Dancing: Mary Harwood leads this "exercise in disguise" program. Dance to your favorite oldies, motown, swing, salsa and country music! Soft soled shoes only. No partner needed. This class takes place on Wednesdays, from 7 - 8 p.m.
Phenomenal Abdominals: Strengthen and firm your torso, flatten your belly, and define your midsection with new exercises devoted to working on the upper, lower and side abdominal muscles. This class takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:30 - 8 p.m.
Prenatal/Post-natal Fitness: Women who exercise regularly during pregnancy experience fewer common prenatal discomforts. Exercise enhances a woman's psychological well-being, improves posture and body mechanics, facilitates circulation, reduces pelvic pain and increases energy levels. Please bring a towel and water. Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. This class takes place on Wednesdays, from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Rookie Rotations: Have you always wanted to try Spinning but were intimidated by the Spinning bike? This is the perfect place for you to get on the bike, get comfortable with the format of the class and learn bike setup and safety. Pre-registration is required. This class is held on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m.
Sculpt & Flex: A challenging hour long cardiovascular strength-training class designed to make you lean and defined by using elements from strength-training, yoga and Pilates giving you a results-oriented whole body workout. Any fitness level may enroll. This class takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:15 - 7:15 p.m.
SOS: Ready for a real challenge? Personal Trainer Shaina Freidman brings it to you. Don't let her friendly, innocent demeanor fool you. She unleashes her inner drill sergeant with intense toning, cardio and core work. She will rescue your beach body! Pre-register for this class or pop in.
Tai Chi: This ancient form of exercise, with its controlled, gentle movements coordinates body, breath and mind, and restores and promotes health, well-being and balance. Tai Chi improves focus, concentration and endurance (Wu-style, long form). This class takes place on Tuesdays, from 7:15 - 8:45 p.m.
Yoga for Power and Sculpting: A total body workout using Classic Hatha Yoga postures for sculpting your body, and increasing muscle strength, endurance and flexibility which includes core work. Please bring a blanket and small towel. Pat Andler Henke, Certified Trainer and Registered Yoga Instructor with 25 years of experience. This class is not appropriate for mothers-to-be. This class takes place on Thursdays, from 8 - 9:30 p.m.
Zumba: Come dance, have fun, get fit and smile in this aerobic fitness class that is sweeping the nation! This class blends traditional moves with high energy fitness moves. All levels welcome. Max 25. This class takes place on Wednesdays, from 6:15 - 7:15 p.m. (Pop-in rate available).
