Duties & Responsibilities
The Fleet Maintenance crew provides repair service for more than 150 on-road city vehicles, including all Police and Fire vehicles. Another 200 plus items maintained include: heavy equipment, turf equipment, trailers and numerous other types of contractor equipment. Maintenance includes:
Body work
Brake repairs
Engine performance repairs
Muffler systems
Routine oil changes
Tune-ups
Metalworking
The crew also performs in-house fabrication and welding for all metal working needs. The Fleet Maintenance crew includes four ASE master certified technicians and two EVT technicians.
