Voting in the 2020 Primary & Local Elections

Voting for the Presidential Primary and other state and local elections has been postponed to a later date, per an announcement by Governor Mike DeWine citing public health concerns related to the Coronavirus.

Early In-Person voting hours are posted on the Board of Elections website or you may call Board at any time to learn the dates and times Early In-Person voting is available.

Vote on Election Day

Bring identification: 

A valid, state issued photo identification card or driver’s license, military identification. A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows your name and current address.

 You are qualified to vote if:
  • You are a citizen of the United States
  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have been a resident of Cuyahoga County for 30 days prior to voting
  • You are currently registered to vote
You must register or update your registration information if:
  • You have not registered before
  • You are a new resident of Westlake
  • You have not voted in the last 4 calendar years
  • You have made changes in your voter registration information such as a name or address change
