Crocker Park

Visit Westlake's "Downtown" where you can find a restaurant to satisfy almost every taste plus sample new ones on food trucks on Tuesdays, shop well-known and specialty retailers, catch the latest blockbuster film, relax in comfy chairs or benches outside with friends or your favorite book, delight in locally grown produce at our Farmers Market on a Saturday (indoor until March 30, 2019)listen to a concert or watch fireworks during special events, and more! Free, metered, and valet parking is available.

Market Square at Crocker Park



Opened in 2016 and owned by the City of Westlake with management by Stark Enterprises, this 13,000 square-foot indoor facility with a half-acre of outdoor green space on Market Street is expected to be a popular venue for City, Crocker Park, and private events throughout the year.

Lake Erie

Westlake is only a few minutes south of Lake Erie. The Cleveland Metroparks Huntington Reservation is the nearest beach and recreation area just a short drive north on Columbia Road. The park on Lake Road is also accessible from Crocker Road and Clague Road, Westlake's other major north-south roadways.

 

City Parks

The City of Westlake has an abundance of beautiful parks that are open to all. They include the 86-acre Recreation Center Park with its outdoor facilities which is home to the Westlake Recreation Center, Clague Park, Roman Park, Tri-City Park, and Bradley Nature Park are home to some of the most beautiful spaces in Westlake.

Golf

Meadowood Golf Course is a City-owned public 27-hole course that offers 18 holes of executive golf and 9 holes of regulation play whenever the grounds are in playable condition.  Hilliard Lakes Golf Club is a privately owned public golf course with 18 holes. Lakewood Country Club has an 18-hole course for its members.

 

Museum and Theater

Learn about the history of the City of Westlake at the Westlake Historical Society Clague House Museum. Tour the museum during special events such as their Valentine Party, Kid's Sundays (April and October), Ice Cream Social (June), Antique, Vintage, and Craft Show (July), or by appointment.
  
 Community theater productions
 at Clague Playhouse run from September to May.



Senior Programs

The Senior and Community Services Department offers programs and activities to enrich the lives of the 50+ population at Westlake Center, including social, educational, and recreational activities plus health screenings each month at little or no cost.

Library

Westlake Porter Library has 26 public computers (guest passes are available), a scanner and copier, study and meeting rooms, a reading garden, periodic art exhibitions and book sales, a variety of children and adult programs, and more. Visitors who reside in Ohio can request a library card.

Nearby Attractions

Westlake's location provides easy access to Interstate I90 to the north and I480 to the south; the Ohio Turnpike has entry and exit points on both.

Hospitals and Medical Care
Many of the Northeast Ohio's largest medical systems have medical facilities in or near Westlake, including UH St. John's Medical Center with a Level II trauma center.
