4th of July Parade and Fireworks


The City's annual 4th of July festivities will begin at 10 a.m. with a parade that typically begins at Burneson Middle School on Dover Center Rd., then onto Hilliard Blvd., traveling east to Clague Park.  

At 11:15 a.m., Mayor Dennis M. Clough, members of City Council, and special guests will honor America’s birthday in a short ceremony at the entrance to Clague Park including the National Anthem, patriotic readings, parade awards, and presentations.

  • The 28th Annual Charity Classic Car Show began at 10 a.m. plus Dog Show, Martial Arts Demo, rides on the Euclid Beach Boys Rocket Ship Car and more.
  • Balloon clowns and face painters are among the children’s activities which runs from 10 am to noon.
  • At Peterson Pool, free games will be held and awards given every hour starting at 1 p.m. Noodle race, silly tube race, watermelon eating contest, funny swimming race and tennis ball hunting contest. Regular admission fees apply most of the afternoon.
  • Food and drink vendors will be located near Clague Cabin after 4 p.m.
  • Musical entertainment by DJ Eazy will begin after 6 p.m.  
  • Fireworks will begin at dusk.
