Book Review - Mystery, History and Romance

Tuesday, May 14, 2019

The way some people meet is a crime – literally – in mystery fiction set in times from ancient Rome to the flapper era. Get to know fictional romantic sleuths like 1st century Roman P.I. Falco and the senator’s daughter Helena, Victorians Thomas and Charlotte Pitt and Amelia Peabody and Emerson Radcliffe, 1920s Honorable Daisy Dalrymple and Alex Fletcher and other couples where one-plus-one equals a match made for crime solving. Light refreshments from mystery cookbooks or mystery authors will be served. Presented by: Irma Baker. (Sponsored by Huntington Woods.)
