Westlake Police promote two officers to rank of Sergeant

Chief Bielozer, Sgt. Pischel, Sgt. Fox, Mayor, Clough

The City of Westlake promoted two officers to the rank of Sergeant on Dec. 17 at City Hall. Mayor Dennis M. Clough administered the oath of office to Ryan Pischel and Nate Fox during a swearing in ceremony attended by friends, family and colleagues in the Council Chambers. 

In addition to their years of experience, both completed extensive training and exercises needed to demonstrate the character traits and knowledge necessary for the role of Sergeant.
