The following information was included in a statement released by the Cuyahoga County Board of Health:
The Bradley Woods Reservation will be treated in April this year by personnel from your local health department. The mosquito larviciding will be applied over the course of a few days using gas-powered backpack equipment, weather permitting. This treatment is conducted every other year and has been found to be effective in reducing the local mosquito population. The result is fewer cases of mosquito-borne disease. If you have any questions, please call Joe Lynch at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health at 216-201-2001 ext. 1241 or check the Board of Health website at ccbh.net.
