Westlake is now offering a 65 gallon Rumpke recycle cart to the first 2,500 residents, free of charge (1 cart per household). Most single family homes are eligible to receive a recycle cart. Residents receiving a recycle cart must agree to complete a survey at the end of the program, which could last from 1 to 2 years, depending on the length of Rumpke’s contract. The recycle carts are property of the City of Westlake and Rumpke, residents will have to relinquish the recycle carts at the end of Rumpke’s contract. Residents will be responsible if their recycle cart is lost or stolen, at the cost of $60.
