The City of Westlake is now offering a 65 gallon Rumpke recycle cart to 2,500 residents, free of charge (1 cart per household). The recycle carts will be first come, first serve. Most single family homes are eligible to receive a recycle cart.
Residents receiving a recycle cart, must agree to complete a survey at the end of the program, which could last from 1 to 2 years, depending on the length of Rumpke's contract.
The recycle carts are property of the City of Westlake and Rumpke. Residents will have to relinquish the recycle carts at the end of Rumpke's contract with the City. Residents will be responsible if their recycle cart is lost or stolen at the cost of $60.

If you would like to receive a free recycle cart, please fill out the Online Request a Recycling Cart Form. If approved, a recycle cart will be delivered to your residence. Approval will be determined by the City if your address qualifies as a single family home.
If the City of Westlake runs out of the 2,500 free recycle carts, residents can rent a recycle cart from Rumpke.
