Think Spring, Think Safety! Be sure to perform these 8 steps of a Fire Safety Check Up in and around your home this spring:

  1. Be sure to change your smoke detector batteries with the time change on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
  2. Keep your appliances clean.
  3. Change your HVAC filters.
  4. Clean your clothes dryer outside vent.
  5. Remove bird nests in outdoor electrical fixtures.
  6. Never store gasoline, paint or flammable liquids inside your home.
  7. Always store propane cylinders outside.
  8. Always inspect propane grills prior to the first use.
