Amended Senior & Community Services Programming Plans

The Westlake Community Services Department has decided to suspend all senior activities effective Monday, March 16, until further notice to mitigate the potential spread of illness – particularly among our most vulnerable citizens who regularly utilize our services.

Additionally, our Annual Volunteer Fair, scheduled for March 24, has been postponed indefinitely.

Our building will remain open so those in need may access the Food Pantry and other crucial social services. Our Senior Transportation program will continue to operate with modified parameters.

The department’s social service staff will continue to serve as a resource for residents seeking information about the variety of services we offer.

We will be actively answering questions over the phone and providing as much support and assistance as possible in that manner to try to alleviate social isolation while maintaining an appropriate amount of social distancing, as recommended by state and county health officials.

The number to dial is 440-899-3544 or you may email any concerns or inquiries to
