[ARCHIVED] Tuesday rubbish/recycling route to resume Wednesday

Due to today’s snow storm, a portion of Rumpke’s Tuesday rubbish/recycling collection route will not be serviced until tomorrow. Some homes may not have been serviced because their collection carts fell over or their bulk items were buried in the snow.

Rumpke has provided the Service Department a list of homes that did not receive service. If your home is normally serviced on Tuesdays but was not serviced today, you may contact the Service Department to check the status of your collection.

If you did not receive service due to a fallen cart or snow-covered items but feel you can go another week without collection, we ask that you please refrain from calling to reduce call volumes.

Residents are advised to try to ensure that their carts remain upright and accessible – they cannot be behind a snowbank or more than 3 feet from the curb.

Your patience and understanding is appreciated. More information is available on the city’s website:
