The Westlake Service Department would like to extend its sincerest apologies for the delayed response to the winter weather motorists experienced on Monday, Jan. 18. This was due to multiple illnesses among our City’s snow removal team and our contingency plan put in place for just such an occurrence not taking effect.
We regret that as a result of these issues motorists had to contend with hazardous conditions caused by snow and ice on our City’s roadways that would have been mitigated by our department under normal circumstances.
Our residents should expect more from our department and should know that our staff takes pride in providing the best service possible to our residents. We have taken appropriate measures to safeguard against such an incident in the future and look forward to reaffirming our commitment to serving this wonderful community through our efforts moving forward.
