    Ever wanted to explore some of our local assisted livings but don’t have the time? Here is your chance. We will be meeting at the Westlake Community Services Center and traveling to Arden Courts, Generations Senior Living and Riverview Pointe. Each location will offer food and goodies along with helpful information and tours. We are limited to the first 30 people so don’t delay and sign-up for your seat on the bus. (Sponsored by Arden Courts, Generations Senior Living, Riverview Pointe) Schedule: 10:00am—Arrive at Westlake Community Services 10:15am—Depart for Arden Courts for tour/Coffee/Pastries 11:30am—Depart for Generations Senior Living/ Tour & Lunch 1:30pm—Depart for Riverview Pointe/ Tour/Coffee/Dessert 2:45pm—Depart for Westlake Community Services

    July 10, 2019, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM @ Recreation Center Park

    Walking is great exercise at any pace, but did you know there are  other benefits to walking other than the fact that it’s simple and free? Now that the nicer weather is here, there’s no better time to start a new routine and walk your way to better health.  Did you know that walking: Promotes good physical health—walking can lower your risk of  Diabetes, Heart Disease and can improve pain from Arthritis. Promotes good mental health—walking regularly helps lower your risk of mental decline, including dementia. Allows social bonding and improves your mood. Allows you to check out the wonderful world around you. The month of June, group meets at 5:30pm @ the Rec Center Gazebo. Watch the newsletter for locations for July/August.
