The Westlake Community Services Center is actively recruiting volunteers to help enhance community programs and services while building meaningful connections among residents.
The center offers a variety of volunteer positions designed to match different interests and skill levels. Opportunities include assisting guests in the café with serving and cleanup duties, sorting and packing donations in the food pantry, and setting tables in the kitchen facility.
Additional roles include serving as visitor ambassadors to greet and assist guests, helping assemble newsletters for the service club, and providing one-on-one technology support to community members with cell phones, tablets, and laptops.
According to center officials, volunteers gain valuable experience while expanding their professional and personal networks. The positions allow participants to make a direct, tangible impact on their neighbors' daily lives while contributing to the community-driven atmosphere that defines the center.
"Motivated, friendly volunteers transform our center into what it truly is: a community-driven place," center representatives said.
