As summer gets underway, Westlake Community Services encourages residents to check in on neighbors, friends and family members who may appreciate an extra call or visit.

A quick hello can make a difference, especially for older adults, residents who live alone or anyone who may need help connecting with local resources.

June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month. Westlake Community Services will host a free presentation on Friday, June 12 at 11 a.m. to help raise awareness, support prevention and protect the dignity and safety of older adults in our community. RSVP by June 10.
