Due to the delayed start of construction at the Recreation Center Athletic Fields and Park, the next summer concert will be held at the Recreation Center Pavilion instead of the Clague Park Gazebo. The concert will be held from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, July 20th and Sunday July 27th.
The August 3rd concert will be at Clague Park.

URGENT UPDATE ON THE NEXT SUMMER CONCERT:
Due to the delayed start of construction at the Recreation Center Athletic Fields and Park, the next summer concert will be held at the Recreation Center Pavilion instead of the Clague Park Gazebo. NATATORIUM (INDOOR POOL) PROJECT
Important Schedule Change – Updated June 9, 2025
The planned renovation of our Recreation Center Natatorium (Indoor Pool) will be delayed until the summer of 2026.

Bids came in 40% over budget, forcing City Council to reject all proposals
The project will be re-bid at the end of 2025 in preparation for summer 2026 construction

Westlake's 36th Annual Charity Classic Car Show Returns July 4th
WESTLAKE, OH - Rev up for Independence Day! The City of Westlake will host its beloved 36th Annual Charity Classic Car Show on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Clague Park.
This family-friendly event features a judged car show with twelve trophy categories spanning Pre-1950s through 1980s vehicles, plus Best of Show. Registration is $15 from 10:00 AM to noon (no pre-registration required), with dash plaques for the first 150 cars and limited parking available.
Beyond classic automobiles, the celebration includes live music entertainment, pool access, concessions, family activities, games, and fireworks at dusk. Additional attractions include a dog show at noon and martial arts demonstrations from 12:30-1:00 PM.
Awards will be presented at 2:30 PM, with judging for all entries registered by noon. The event benefits the Westlake Community Center and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Parkside Athletic Fields Opening 2025
The City of Westlake is thrilled to announce the upcoming 2025 opening of the Parkside Athletic Field Complex! This exciting project includes two premier artificial turf fields that can accommodate full-size football or soccer games, as well as smaller field layouts for all ages and skill levels. The complex will also feature a playground, picnic shelter, and a concession/restroom facility. Funded by the Parks and Recreation levy approved by residents, this much-anticipated addition is expected to be completed by September 2025. Stay tuned for updates!
