Dr. Kurtis Dornan packed the room at Community Services this morning with a talk on living healthier, longer, and then cut the ribbon on his sponsorship of our Equipped Fitness Room. Same room, same equipment, now with a new partner behind it. Thank you, Dr. Dornan and MDVIP.

Join Dr. Kurtis Dornan on Tuesday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Westlake Community Services for a talk on what you can do — starting today — to live longer and live healthier. He'll walk through the science behind aging, how much of it you can actually influence, and take your questions afterward.
Right after the presentation, stick around as we recognize Dr. Dornan's new sponsorship of the Community Services fitness room with a ribbon-cutting!
The event is free and open to the community, but space is limited, and registration is required—call (440) 899-3544 to RSVP.

With temperatures soaring this week, remember to stay hydrated and out of the sun. If you do not have air conditioning in your home, feel free to cool off on weekdays at Community Services from 8-4, the Recreation Center from 5 am - 9 pm, or the library from 9 am- 9 pm. Seek medical attention if you feel cold and clammy, have a racing pulse, increased blood pressure, profuse sweating, dizziness, faintness, or severe muscle cramps.
